| SPOTLIGHT Five Potters ~ Coast-to-Coast March 27 – March 31, 2012 Slab Art, 4917 17th Ave, Seattle, 98107 As part of the 46th annual National Conference on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), we are honored to host an exhibit featuring the work of five renowned potters: Kevin Crowe (Tye River Pottery), Reid Schoonover (Working Man Studio), Chuck Hinds, Al Tennant, and Brad McLemore. This exhibit focuses on a variety of works—from sculptures to tea sets, with some pieces incorporating wood and other materials—created by five distinct approaches to the historical technique of wood-firing.
